Lymphatic drainage is used to treat lymphoedema. Lymphoedema occurs when, as a result of a chronic inflammatory disease of the interstitium (space between cells, tissues, organs), the flow of lymph is disturbed so that fluid accumulates in the tissue. This can be recognised by a clearly visible swelling. Lymphoedema often occurs in the limbs. Lymphoedema can also develop on the face.  Lymphatic drainage uses gentle strokes to activate the lymphatic system naturally.  In addition, we offer Recovery Boots, a Lymphomat (room) for our athletes and self-pay patients. This device with medical approval generates pressure waves that massage the legs and thus contribute to increased regeneration.
